The Barber Stop: Legacy of Quality Haircuts and Community in Evergreen, Colorado...

Nestled in Historic Downtown Evergreen, The Barber Stop has been a cornerstone of the community since 1955. When longtime owner Lee passed the torch in 2019, he entrusted his legacy to Lisa and Jourdain Jones—a talented local hair stylist and her son.

Under Lisa’s leadership, the shop expanded to the space next door to welcome more stylists and clients. In time, Lisa and Jourdain carried forward another beloved Evergreen tradition by acquiring John’s Barbershop. After serving the community since 1980, Lisa made the difficult decision to close John's on January 31, 2025. While the shop may no longer exist, the legacy lives on through The Barber Stop.

The team at The Barber Stop is proud to continue a decades-long tradition of offering Evergreen and the nearby communities an array of clean, precise cuts and trims, all delivered with the relaxed, friendly mountain-town charm that makes Evergreen, Colorado so special.

FAQs

How do I park for my appointment?

We have free parking behind the salon, located above the business structure. If you can find a space, you could park in the Baskin Robbins lot next to our building or pay metered parking around the area.

Is The Barber Stop your only salon in Evergreen?

Yes. We used to own a second location in North Evergreen named John's Barbershop but have since closed the location. As of 1/31/25, we operate out of our original Barber Stop location in downtown Evergreen, CO.

Will a stylist be available if I walk-in?

Yes, we always take walk-ins. However, we strongly encourage you to book with us online, even if you are on your way in!

How should I prepare for my appointment?

When you come in to see your stylist it is advised to bring photos on your phone of the style you want. This is especially helpful when seeing a stylist for the first time or when you want a new style.
